Work in progress

My current WIP is titled
Eli Rye
Book 1
Confessions

New York Times bestselling author, Alexa Davis, known for the passion she puts into researching details for her novels, is about to take on her biggest challenge yet. Wanting to write a book based on serial killers, there is only one way she knows to get the juicy details. After jumping through hoops, she has been granted permission to interview one of the most feared serial killers alive, Eli Rye.
Alexa is scheduled to have five one hour interviews with Eli, one week before he is to be put to death. Eli, feeling a bond between himself and Alexa, tells her of his dark secret, the monster he really is and of murders yet to happen. Disturbed by what he has told her, Alexa considered canceling the rest of the interviews. Curiosity getting the best of her, she decides other wise. At the last session, Eli tells Alexa what is going to happen after he is put to death. His spirit will be set free to pick up where he left off. Alexa, not believing everything Eli had told her, but thinking it would be good for her book, soon realizes the truth. Now she wishes she had never met him.

I'm planning a set of two shorts for this title running around 10,000 - 15,000 words each. The first book will be released for free. The second will be released as a set of book 1 an 2 price yet to be determined.

Finally the release has come

What would you do if you had awakened from a coma to find out you and your spouse were the victims of a surprise attack? This attack put you in the coma and resulted in the death of your spouse. And now you are haunted by visions of the attack that show it unfold little by little in full detail.
What would you do if you never had to sleep, never had to eat, healed quickly and had unbelievable strength? Would you use that ability to seek revenge?
Morgan K. Wright, a cage fighter known by the name of Kane, is experiencing just that. Follow along in this action packed drama, as he seeks out six members of a local mob that were behind this surprise attack. After taking out these six mob members, aided by his new found abilities, Morgan’s hunger for revenge is not satisfied. He meets up with Krystal, his dead wife Sara’s best friend, in an effort to gain important information. As Krystal is not willing to give up the information freely, she offers Morgan a proposition. Will Morgan accept her proposition? What will Morgan have to do to gain this information he wants? What will Morgan do when he finds out who the sole person responsible for the attack is?

Revenge So Sweet

Follow along in this action packed drama thriller, as Morgan K. Wright, an underground cage fighter known as Kane, seeks revenge on the members of a local mob. These six men were responsible for the attack that put him in a coma for six months, and the rape and murder of his wife, Sara.
After waking up out of the coma, the doctors were reluctant to let Morgan leave. It wasn't until Morgan's good friend and agent, John, had came to visit that Morgan had any hope of getting out of the hospital. Working his magic, John successfully got the doctors to finally oblige Morgan's request.
While he was still in the hospital, Morgan had started seeing visions that showed him pieces from the attack. Every time he has a vision, it reveals a little more than before. Aided by these visions, once released from the hospital and learning of his wife's brutal murder, Morgan sets out on his path for revenge. As Morgan progresses on his path, he discovers that he has gained some strange abilities: never needing to sleep, healing quickly, and he was faster and stronger than before. With his new abilities, Morgan started working his way through the mob. With every enemy he takes out, Morgan grows a little stronger, heals a little quicker, and slightly dampens his hunger for revenge.
Along the way, Sara's best friend, Krystal, attempts to give Morgan some important news about the attack. Morgan gets too tied up in his quest for revenge, standing Krystal up every time they try to meet. When they finally do meet, Krystal is furious with Morgan and finally tells him how she truly feels about him. When he asks for the news, she makes him a proposition he has no choice but to take. Devastated by the news he got from Krystal, Morgan seeks out the sole person responsible for the attack.

Coming late August early September 2012.

Revenge So Sweet

Chapter 3 Excerpt
"Huh, I can't place it but somehow I think I know him." Morgan looked confused himself. As he was getting ready to ask Krystal about her important news, a vision hit him. He could see himself laying on the ground. There was blood all around his body lots of it. It appeared that most of it was coming form the bag over his head. As he focused on the vision, he could see a man standing over him laughing. The man started kicking him in the head over and over. This was the same man from the vision at the hospital. When the man was done kicking him in the head and body he knelt down and checked his pulse. He heard the man say, "Yea, this fucking bitch is dead." Then the man started laughing again. Morgan heard another man yell, "No fucking shit, Sherlock. He was dead before you started playing with him. Now get your ass over here, Jimmy Boy. We need your lighter." As the man referred to as 'Jimmy Boy' started to walk away Morgan got a clearer vision of him. It was the man who had just walked by the window.
"Hey, Morgan, Morgan, Morgan." Krystal said trying to get his attention.
Morgan shook his head clearing away the vision. "Yes, Krystal. What?" He was looking at her with weird look.
